Liverpool youngster could make the bench for Champions League tie.

Liverpool have injury problems in midfield after Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson were ruled out of tonight’s Champions League game with Red Star Belgrade, Sky Sports report.

Their absence could provide an opportunity for young talent Curtis Jones.

Jones was pictured at training with the Liverpool first team squad yesterday evening.

The central midfielder made a name for himself with Steven Gerrard’s under-18s last season and quickly stepped up to under-23 level.

Still only 17-years-old, Jones is a very bright talent who Jurgen Klopp has already taken a shine to, after bringing him intot he first team fold in pre-season.

A place on the bench is the best Jones can hope for tomorrow evening and getting on late if Liverpool are winning comfortably.

What an opportunity it could be for him to make his debut at Anfield in the Champions League.
