Rangers face Spartak Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has taken notice of striker Andrew Dallas’ impressive form in Graeme Murty’s Under-23 side, calling him up to senior training as confirmed by the club’s official Instagram page.
Dallas, 19, has frequently scored for Murty’s side and is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in the Rangers squad and his form is certainly pushing him towards the first team.
The striker is yet to make a senior appearance for the Gers but has spent time on loan at Stenhousemuir, where he scored two goals in five appearances for the Scottish League One side.
Rangers posted on their Instagram page on Wednesday afternoon ahead of Thursday night’s clash against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League, and Dallas was pictured alongside Borna Barisic and Ovie Ejaria on the second image.
It remains to be seen if Dallas will be making a break into the first team, with Gerrard boasting plenty of options up front in the form of Alfredo Morelos, Umar Sadiq and Kyle Lafferty.
Rangers are set to welcome back Barisic as well as midfielder Ryan Jack, but Scott Arfield remains a 50-50 chance to return to action in time for the clash against one of Russia’s best sides.
