The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has already handed debuts to two Ibrox youngsters this season.

The Rangers academy head, Craig Mulholland, has named six young players he expects to become long-term regulars at Ibrox.
Rangers’ youth system is once again beginning to bear fruit, with Ross McCrorie and Glenn Middleton able to establish themselves as first team level within the past 12 months.
And, according to Mulholland, the pair will not be the last to do so.
Speaking via the Rangers Youth Development Co. Twitter account as part of a Q & A session on Tuesday, the former SFA Senior Youth Development Officer said:
Palmer, Thomson and Robby McCrorie – who are each awaiting their senior Rangers bows – are among those impressing beyond the Ibrox first team this season.
And given Steven Gerrard’s background as coach of Liverpool’s Under-18 side, the trio may fancy their chances of changing that before too long.
