Newcastle United youngster Elias Sorensen scored another hat-trick last night for the under-23s.
Sorensen, 19, scored three as Newcastle made light work of Aston Villa, winning 5-2.
He had netted his third goal as early as the 55th minute, scoring his second hat-trick of the month.
The wretched form of Newcastle’s first team has fans pleading for Sorensen to get a chance under Rafa Benitez.
It’s not a case of fans unfairly making Sorensen their saviour, more so that they feel he cannot do worse than Newcastle’s current strike options.
Newcastle were poor at the weekend again as they lost to Brighton and are being sucked into a relegation battle.
Even if Sorensen can give them a temporary lift, bringing him in will be worthwhile for a team who badly need some extra inspiration.
