West Ham United and Newcastle United are reportedly watching Aston Villa-owned Port Vale defender Mitchell Clark.

It has been reported that Premier League duo Newcastle and West Ham are watching Clark, who joined League Two outfit Port Vale on loan from Championship side Villa in the summer transfer window.
Talented youngster
Clark is a very talented and promising young defender who is doing quite well at Port Vale at the moment.
The 19-year-old defender has made 10 appearances in League Two so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Future star
Villa do need promising and talented young defenders in the future, and the Villans must do their utmost to hold onto Clark for long-term success.
Clark is only 19 years of age and is still developing as a footballer, and Villa should not let West Ham or Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle prise him away, especially if they are able to clinch promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
