Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Mohamed Diame against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Diame featured for Newcastle in their Premier League match against Brighton away from home at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 31-year-old Senegalese midfielder - who joined Rafael Benitez’s side from Hull City in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £4.5 million - started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Magpies lost 1-0.
Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of the former West Ham United midfielder - who earns £45,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Newcastle had 68% of the possession, took 27 shots of which six were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.
