Hogan, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, has posted a picture of him training ahead of Villa’s Championship match against Swansea City at Villa Park this afternoon.
The 26-year-old struggled to get into the Villa team this season when Steve Bruce was in charge and has yet to appear in the Championship this season.
Injuries did not help the Republic of Ireland international either, but the former Brentford star is now fit and seems ready for action for Villa.
Hogan, who joined Villa from Championship rivals Brentford in January 2017 for an initial transfer fee reported by ESPN to be worth £9 million, scored six goals and provided two assists in 19 Championship starts for the Villans last season, according to WhoScored.
Villa fans have responded to Hogan’s simple post on Twitter, and they seem to be happy that he is back and hope that he does well for Dean Smith’s team in the coming weeks and months.
