They are arguably West Ham United’s best ever strike partnership and now Tony Cottee and Frank McAvennie have been reunited for a great picture.

West Ham’s team from the 1986 season will rightly be remembered in the proud history of the club.
West Ham’s best ever top flight season saw them finish third but in truth the Hammers should have won the league title.
Key to their success was the brilliant strike partnership of Frank McAvennie and Tony Cottee who notched an incredible 54 goals between them.
McAvennie scored 28 and homegrown Hammer Cottee 26 and West Ham fans have not seen anything like it since.
The deadly duo helped West Ham win 26 of their 42 games to finish with 84 points and a positive goal difference of 34.
Cottee and McAvennie, like the rest of the Boys of 86, are revered by Hammers fans to this day.
So they were loving it when the duo were reunited and posted about it with a great picture on Twitter.

Cottee posted on the social networking site: “Look who’s in town with me… Frank McAvennie,” accompanied by a picture of the dynamic duo embracing at an event in Billericay.
McAvennie responded: “Always great to catch up with the goal machine.”
The exchange between the pair and picture got the West Ham fans going on Twitter.
