Celtic losing Daniel Arzani would have to be considered a waste, if he does leave Brendan Rodgers’ side.

The World’s Game claim that Arzani could be recalled early from his loan spell at Celtic by Manchester City.

The Australian hasn’t been used by the Bhoys since he arrived during the summer transfer window.

And Celtic fans should consider it a major waste, if Arzani is to return to City.

Although Rodgers may have some doubts over whether the 19-year-old is ready to play for Celtic, it would be a shame for him to leave without being given a chance.

Celtic’s options at right-back are not exactly outstanding, and Arzani could prove a good option, if given an opportunity.

Arzani showed at the World Cup that he was capable of performing at the highest level.

And for Celtic to lose him without their supporters ever seeing him in action would go down as a big disappointment, so Rodgers should ensure that the youngster isn't recalled in January.
