Missing out on Jadon Sancho a huge blow for Tottenham Hotspur

Jadon Sancho was asid to want a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but they failed to do a deal.

Jadon Sancho reportedly wanted a move to Tottenham Hotspur back in 2017, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s failure to sign him is looking like a bigger and bigger error.

ESPN reported how Spurs were interested in Sancho, when it turned out that the youngster was going to leave Manchester City.


However, Spurs ended up pulling out of the deal, and Sancho ended up at Borussia Dortmund.

Since, Sancho has gone from strength to strength and he is now really starting to make a name for himself.

The 18-year-old has played regularly in the Bundesliga this season, and he has provided a great deal of assists to his teammates.

Sancho’s brilliant form pushed him into the England squad, and his cameo at the end of the Three Lions’ match against Croatia seriously caught the eye.

Sancho looked a constant threat after being introduced, and now looks to be the brightest young talent England have.

And Spurs’ failure to sign him last year means that they face paying £100 million for the forward (Daily Mirror), if they want to snap up the youngster now.
