James Maddison joined Leicester City from Norwich City in the summer transfer window.

Norwich City will bag £250,000 if Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison makes his debut for England this evening, according to The Sun.

Maddison is on the substitutes’ bench for England’s UEFA Nations League Group A4 game against Croatia away from home at Stadion HNK Rijeka in Rijeka.

If the 21-year-old makes an appearance tonight, then Norwich will reportedly get a £250,000 windfall due to the transfer deal with Leicester.

As reported by The Sun, Leicester signed the youngest from Norwich in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee worth £20 million, with add-ons for making an international breakthrough.

Norwich will hope that Maddison does play for England against Croatia, as the Championship club will reportedly pocket as much as £250,000.

The attacking midfielder scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 42 Championship starts for Norwich last season, according to WhoScored.

So far this campaign, the 21-year-old has scored three goals and provided two assists in eight Premier League appearances for Norwich, according to WhoScored.
