Rangers' second string beat Morton's first team in a behind closed doors friendly on Thursday - the Ibrox side emerging 2-1 winners.
Andrew Dallas and Cammy Palmer scored a goal apiece for Rangers, to continue their recent good form, while their manager, Peter Lovenkrands, posted the following tweet afterwards:
And with Rangers' attack down to the bare bones for this month's Scottish League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen, some Gers fans believe a call-up could be on the cards for striker Dallas, in particular.
This is what they're saying on Twitter:
Well done lads. Tough test & you done well. @AndrewD_123 the first teams surely on the cards for the near future. ⚪️— WeeLeonz (@WeeLeon) October 12, 2018

Great work Peter, Andrew Dallas continues to impress on the goal scoring front but a lot of talent coming through— Four Lads Had a Dream (@4ladshadadream) October 11, 2018
Keep showing them how it’s done
Although it appears it is not only Dallas in line for promotion to Steven Gerrard's plans...
Brilliant result! Wont be long before Palmer and Dallas are in Gerrards 18— scott_kdy55 (@SKdy55) October 12, 2018

Gerrard has already shown in his brief time in charge of Rangers that he is willing to provide youngsters with first team opportunities.
Glenn Middleton quickly cemented a place in the Liverpudlian's squad, while Stephen Kelly made his debut for the Gers last month.
Could Dallas and Palmer break into the Rangers team this season?
