Aston Villa v Swansea City, October 20

Aston Villa have a new management in team, and it will be interesting to see how Dean Smith and John Terry do against Swansea City. The Swans have one of the strongest teams in the Championship, and the Welsh outfit could make it tough for the Villans at Villa Park. A draw is the most likely outcome.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-1 Swansea City

Norwich City v Aston Villa, October 23

Norwich City are above Villa in the Championship table, and there is a small chance that they could challenge for the playoffs. Playing at home will give the Canaries an advantage, but the Villans could eke out a narrow win at Carrow Road, with Smith and Terry having some considerable time to work with the squad by then.

Prediction: Norwich City 0-2 Aston Villa

Queens Park Rangers v Aston Villa, October 26

Queens Park Rangers have recovered from their terrible start to the season, but the London club are still in danger of getting relegated from the Championship. Given the quality of players that Villa have in their squad, Smith’s side should be able to win at Loftus Road with ease.

Prediction: Queens Park Rangers 0-2 Aston Villa
