Hernandez has not played for Leeds United in approaching two months.
Some Leeds United fans are expressing their concern after Pablo Hernandez missed Friday’s under-23 team fixture against Burnley.
Hernandez was tipped to make his injury comeback at Elland Road, but missed out as Adam Forshaw, Kemar Roofe and Gaetano Berardi filled Leeds’ three over-23 outfield spots.
As yet, no official word has been given as to the Spaniard’s whereabouts, although the following Whites supporters fear he won’t be fit to face Blackburn Rovers a week on Saturday.

I thought the big three were all back. Not Shaughnessy… but the Spanish wizard Hernandez. Not even on the bench.— Rich wordsworth (@Wordmeister78) October 12, 2018
Taking it that he won’t be fit for Blackburn either Phil?— Nathan Phillips (@NathanP92) October 12, 2018
You’d have thought that if he were fit he’d be in more need of match fitness than say Forshaw.— Ant Walker (@Antichthon) October 12, 2018
James @YorkshireJAMES1: Replying to @PhilHayYEP Hernandez out of Blackburn game then, maybe some **** can sign on a free to take his place
He’ll be fine. Head is always match fit. No need for u23.— Beau d’Lollocks (@DLollocks) October 12, 2018
Leeds’ U23s took a 2-0 lead against their Lancastrian counterparts, via an own goal prompted by a Berardi header and Roofe.
But Burnley hit back through Dwight McNeil and Oliver Younger, whose equaliser arrived in the 80th minute.
Hernandez has scored three goals and assisted another two in five league appearances this season, but has failed to feature since the 3-0 win at Norwich City at the end of August.
How badly have Leeds missed Hernandez?
