Former Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City boss Carlos Carvalhal has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Wolverhampton Wanderers chief Nuno winning the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September.

Wolves boss Nuno has been awarded the prestigious honour for his team’s heroics in the Premier League last month.

The Wanderers, who won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, picked up 10 points from a possible 12 last month.

Carvalhal, who managed Wednesday in the Championship and Swansea in the Premier League, has congratulated Nuno on his achievement and has given his verdict on his work in just two words - “great job”.

Wolves have been superb in the Premier League so far this season, and there is no risk of the Wanderers getting sucked into a relegation battle.

The Wanderers are seventh in the league table at the moment with 15 points from eight matches, just three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

While it is going to be hard for Wolves to end up in the Champions League places this season, perhaps Nuno’s side could challenge for the fifth and the six spots.
