The right-back returned to action for Leeds United's Under-23s less than a week ago.
Leeds United's Bryce Hosannah appears to have suffered an injury setback just days after his return to action.
Hosannah made his first appearance of the season on Friday, as Leeds Under-23s suffered a 2-1 defeat at Southampton.
But a post added to the right-back's Instagram story on Thursday showed him wearing a protective boot on his right foot.
And a caption read: "Headloss central".
Another injury lay-off would be unfortunately timed for Hosannah, with Leeds' first choice in his position suspended for next weekend's trip to Blackburn Rovers.
The recovering Gaetano Berardi is likely to return in Luke Ayling's absence, although Hosannah may have come into consideration as a back-up option.
The 19-year-old signed for Leeds from Crystal Palace in 2017 and impressed enough in his first season at Elland Road to earn a new two-year contract earlier this year.
