A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react to comments made by Luis Enrique - which have been reported by Wales Online - where he suggested that Tyler Roberts is one of the Wales stars that Spain have to worry about in Gareth Bale's absence.

Wales host Spain in a friendly at the Principality Stadium during this international break. But Ryan Giggs' side's task will be made much tougher by the fact that Gareth Bale will miss the game due to a groin problem.

Enrique - who is no stranger to Bale's quality from their various El Clasico battles from his time as Barcelona boss - suggested that not having Bale in the ranks is a boost for Spain, but then suggested that Roberts was one of the players that his side still need to worry about.

"We have analysed Wales with Bale in the team, and he has great speed, but it does not change anything for us," he said, as reported by Wales Online.

"They have good, young players, like Tyler Roberts, and we know it will not be easy."

Enrique's comments are undoubtedly another indication of how rapidly Roberts has turned his fortunes around. During the second-half of last season, it would have seemed unthinkable for one of the most high-profile international bosses to earmark the Leeds man as a major threat in the absence of one of the world's most expensive players.

But Roberts has enjoyed a fantastic run in the Whites side after a very encouraging international break last time out. He goes into this stoppage in the season with three Championship goals under his belt, and his performances under Marcelo Bielsa suggest that it is going to prove to be a fantastic piece of business to have gotten him through the door at Elland Road.

And in response to Enrique's comments, a number of Leeds fans have lauded Roberts himself, as well as Bielsa and even Victor Orta as the forward is now in a position where he is being singled out by one of the world's top coaches as a potential dangerman in Bale's absence.
