Everton should be looking to snap up another Barcelona talent.
Everton's busy end to the summer transfer window saw them bring in a raft of signings, including three from Catalan giants Barcelona.
The Toffees landed left back Lucas Digne to be Leighton Baines' heir, before then signing Yerry Mina permanently and Andre Gomes on loan on deadline day in August.
Digne is the only one to have even made an appearance so far, but raiding Barcelona was seen as a major move from Marcel Brands – and one more in 2019 would be wise.
Forward Munir El Haddadi is out of contract at the end of the season, and with no new contract imminent, he will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement in January.
The Spanish forward, 23, bust onto the scene in 2014 before losing way a little, only to recapture his best form in a 14-goal campaign on loan at Alaves last season.
Now back with Barca, Munir is only cover for Ernesto Valverde's attack, and in an attempt to build on his one Spain cap, he may need to move on when he becomes free in 2019.
Everton's goalscoring options aren't exactly stellar, with Oumar Niasse surely leaving in 2019, and a versatile option like Munir – who can play out wide or up front – would be smart.
They may have paid out considerable money for Digne and Mina, but now Everton can go and claim a bargain by signing Munir, and should already be preparing their pre-contract offer to the young attacker for the January window.
