West Ham play host to Spurs after the international break.
Mark Noble has made a big claim to Sky Sports that West Ham United have had a similar start to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur despite sitting 10 places behind them in the Premier League - and Spurs fans have labelled him "delusional".
West Ham suffered five losses in their eight Premier League matches, but have secured impressive wins over Manchester United and Everton as well as drawing against Chelsea and they currently lie in 15th place in the Premier League.
Way ahead of them in fifth, Spurs have impressed in the league, picking up six wins from eight though they have been beaten by Premier League title contenders Liverpool as well as Watford away from home.
Ahead of West Ham's clash against Spurs on October 20 at the London Stadium, captain Noble spoke of how the two sides have started in similar fashion despite the Hammers being 11 points worse off than Spurs.
"It's a massive game at home for us, Spurs always are," Noble said. "They're a fantastic team with great players, they've had a similar start to us really, bit up and down, but what a great team they are and we look forward to that."
West Ham have had plenty of joy in their last nine outings against Mauricio Pochettino's men, with the Argentine finding West Ham somewhat of a bogey team since he joined Spurs from Southampton in the summer of 2014.
In the nine matches Pochettino has faced West Ham as Spurs boss, the Hammers have won three times and drawn twice despite Spurs being favourites. But Noble's comments have angered Spurs fans, who believe he is being delusional.
They are funny...
