Wolverhampton Wanderers moved to bring Leander Dendoncker to the Premier League on a loan deal from Jupiler League outfit Anderlecht.

For a while, it seemed that Leander Dendoncker to Wolverhampton Wanderers just would not be happening.
According to Foot Mercato at the start of August, the Belgium international had rejected the chance to join Wolverhampton Wanderers from Anderlecht.
But Dendoncker did end up at Molineux, joining Wolves on loan with an option to buy for £12 million. Though HLN then went on to claim that the 23-year-old was ‘rather unhappy’ as he headed to the Black Country.
And if Dendoncker wasn’t actually enamoured by a move to Wolves, his slow start to life in England might not have made him any more enthusiastic. He has made just two appearances so far, both coming in the League Cup.
Now, in quotes reported by Voetbal, experienced former manager Aad de Mos claims that Dendoncker has simply joined the wrong club, likening his situation to that of Zakaria Bakalli, who has ended up at Anderlecht after disappointing spells at Valencia and Deportivo.
“They choose the wrong clubs,” 71-year-old Dutchman de Mos said.

Nuno Espirito Santo became the first manager in Premier League history to name the same starting XI for the first eight games of the season ahead of Saturday’s 1-0 win away at Crystal Palace.
So despite Dendoncker’s ability to play in both defence and midfield, he could be waiting for an injury or a suspension to get his chance.
