Tottenham are linked with a move for Jadon Sancho.
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a surprise move for Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho.
The Mirror claim Dortmund want a huge £100 million for Sancho, a fee which most probably rules Spurs out of contention for the young winger.
The asking price should harden Tottenham's stance to develop their own players, and turn their focus back to their own young English wonderkid, Marcus Edwards.
Edwards was not in Tottenham's good books after a poor loan spell at Norwich and he was not included on the team's pre-season tour.
Instead of sulking, Edwards worked hard and starred for the under-23s in late July and early August.
He is currently on loan at Dutch side Excelsior, where he is gaining valuable experience as a weekly starter, and has already been named in the Eredivisie team of the week.
Edwards is only 19-years-old and has time to fulfil his potential.
Rated as one of English football's brightest talents, Edwards has shone for the Three Lions at youth level.
If Tottenham can get him right, he has the potential to be every bit as good as Jadon Sancho.
