Park is one of the greatest players in the history of football in South Korea and was hugely successful during his time at United.
Tottenham ace Son, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, has said that his compatriot Park is his role model.
Son told The Mirror about Park: “He is a legend for me and was one of the guys who influenced us all in a way because he played for also a big team and was a key part of their success.
“Anytime he played in the Champions League he played very well and represented our country in the best possible way.
“I am still in contact with him and he remains my role model because of the kind of human being he is. It is very hard to find a fault in him and if i need to ask something he is always a phone call away.”
Son is one of the best players on the books of Tottenham, and the South Korea international will be key for Spurs as the season progresses.
The 26-year-old has made three starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table with 18 points from eight matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
