West Ham United, Everton and Burnley are among the clubs being linked with Mbwana Samatta.
Samatta has scored 14 goals in 16 games for the Belgian side, Genk, this season - half of which have arrived in Europe.
And the Daily Mirror reports (October 6th, page 63) that West Ham are 'tracking' the Tanzanian, whose potential is also said to have alerted Everton, Burnley and Brighton and Hove Albion.
West Ham, like both Burnley and Brighton, are not currently short of options in Samatta's position, however it is plausible that Everton could enter the striker market if Oumar Niasse is sold in January - as has been reported in recent weeks.
Having began his career in African football, Samatta moved to Europe with Genk - where he remains under contract for another 20 months - in early 2016.
The 5 ft 11 in striker has also scored 16 goals in 44 games for his country.
Would Samatta be a good addition for West Ham, Everton or Burnley?
