Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Manchester City-owned youngster Jack Harrison against Brentford.
Harrison, who joined Leeds on loan from Premier League club City in the summer transfer window, was in action against Brentford at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
The England Under-21 international has made seven starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for the Whites so far this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
Harrison - who earns £51,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com - has been on the books of City since January 2018 when he joined from New York City for a transfer fee reported by The Northern Echo to be worth £4 million.

Pontus has been a colossus since coming back into the team. He is still our best player by 20 mile. Credit to Alioski who was terrific when he went to left back. Harrison might as well not have been on the pitch, he’s had one good game in about 10. No words for Luke Ayling #LUFC— Jack Timms (@jacktimms92) October 6, 2018
Positives - Jansson immense, jack Clarke looked unfazed alioski stepped up to the plate, Forshaw n Clarke added some bite, Harrison n Dallas eventually overcame a 60 minute warmup - negatives Ayling and Cooper simply not good enough #LUFC— dude (@LYNSKEYDUDE) October 6, 2018
Ignoring the ref debacle:— Skeggsy (@skeggzi) October 6, 2018
- Jansson definitely m.o.m
- Alioski looks better at LB
- Clarke looks really promising
- The sooner Roofe / Hernandez are back for Harrison / Roberts the better #lufc
Thought Harrison was a completely different player when switched to the right but agree generally. Strange he took off klich as well. Only area of the pitch we were ok— nedcostello (@nedcostello35) October 6, 2018
Harrison isn’t good enough, good squad player but I’d rather Jack Clarke to start.— George Daniel (@georgeLUFC11) October 6, 2018
Cooper as good as he’s been this season imagine a another Jansson along side himself, Cooper doesn’t cut it for me.
Crying out for a prolific winger.
Roberts is class with full of potential.
Harrison has worked so hard today but nothing’s come off for him. #lufc— Matthew Knowles (@knowlesm) October 6, 2018
Jack Clarke instantly showing Harrison and Alioski how to turn a man #lufc— Ants (@AntsTheGamer) October 6, 2018
Never a penalty but we’ve repeatedly given the ball away all over the pitch today. Too many players off the pace; Cooper, Ayling, Alioski, Phillips, Harrison. Can’t afford passengers in games like this when the likes of Roofe, Hernandez and Bamford are missing. Gutless. #LUFC— Cockney White (@cockney_white) October 6, 2018
Also, I love you Bielsa but time for Clarke to get a run out. Harrison and Alioski couldn't take each other on nevermind the opponents full back. #LUFC— FOTF (@FocusOnTheFooty) October 6, 2018
Ayling shocking alioski anonymous Cooper clown-ish Saiz onefooted moaner Harrison bit headless Philips who he ? Jansson epic BPF sound enough Klich tidy ... overall toothless #LUFC— dude (@LYNSKEYDUDE) October 6, 2018
Ayling's use of the ball has been poor but Harrison's slept through most of that half, no matter where the ball is coming from. Just not on his toes, not staying active. Did a bit more towards the end tbf, but he's got to be a lot more lively. #lufc— ETHAN (@EthanFromOnline) October 6, 2018
