McCoist, who played for Rangers as a striker and also managed the Ibrox club from 2011 until 2014, said that he enjoys watching Rogic.
The former Scotland international striker made the comments after Celtic’s 6-0 win against St. Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday evening.
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton was also pleased with the performance of the 25-year-old Australia international midfielder.
McCoist said about Rogic on BT Sport 1 on Sunday evening (5:30pm, October 7, 2018): “I said before the game. I really do enjoy Rogic as a player. I think he is a very clever player.”
Sutton said about Rogic on BT Sport 1 on Sunday evening (5:29pm, October 7, 2018): “Tom Rogic as well had a very, very big game for Celtic.”
Rogic is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure for Celtic.
The Australia international has been on the books of Celtic since January 2013 when he joined from Central Coast Mariners for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £400,000.
The 25-year-old midfielder has scored 32 goals in 147 appearances in all competitions for Celtic so far in his career, as stated on the Glasgow giants’ official website.
