Steven Gerrard's men came from behind to pick up the three points against Rapid Vienna, with Morelos scoring twice and James Tavernier finding the back of the net from the spot to send Rangers to the top of their group after two games.
And it was the final goal that grabbed many of the headlines as Candeias' superb back-heel played Morelos in before the Colombian calmly slid the ball home. The goal sparked wild scenes at Ibrox, especially as Vienna had been pushing for an equaliser only seconds before.
And Cardoso - who left Rangers in the summer after only one season with the Light Blues - took to social media to praise both Candeias and Morelos for their respective roles in the goal, simply labelling the goal 'beautiful'.

It was unquestionably a famous night for the Gers. Although their Scottish Premiership form is not proving to be as impressive, their performances in Europe are leaving many convinced that Rangers are getting closer and closer to becoming a real force again after several years away.
And the win undoubtedly gives the Gers a fantastic chance of progressing out of their group ahead of their double header with Spartak Moscow after the international break.
