Rangers midfielder Ovie Ejaria
Ejaria, who joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, featured for Steven Gerrard’s side in their Europa League match at Ibrox on Thursday evening.
The 20-year-old midfielder started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Rangers won 3-1.
Blackpool midfielder Jordan Thompson was following the match, and the 21-year-old Northern Ireland international was impressed with the performance produced by Ejaria - who earns £2000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
Thompson was released by Rangers at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, and the youngster moved to Blackpool in League One in England on a free in the summer transfer window.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox on Thursday evening, hosts Rangers had 55% of the possession, took nine shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
