Tottenham Hotspur were scouting potential signings on Tuesday night.
According to Sportime in Greece, Tottenham Hotspur scouted AEK Athens duo Vasilios Barkas and Konstantinos Galanopoulos against Benfica on Tuesday night.
Spurs take on Barcelona in the Champions League this evening, as they look to get their first in in the competition this season having lost 2-1 at Inter Milan last time out.
Whilst that game will be the focus for Spurs, it also seems that they have been eyeing up potential transfer targets with a scouting mission last night.
AEK Athens took on Portuguese giants Benfica in Greece, and Alfa Semedo's winning goal gave Benfica all three points in a 1-0 victory in front of Spurs scouts.
Sportime report that Spurs were looking at two AEK players last night, as goalkeeper Vasilios Barkas and midfielder Konstantinos Galanopoulos were of interest to the North London club.
Barkas, 24, was born in the Netherlands but represents Greece internationally, and helped AEK win the title last season, whilst he is also a huge, commanding goalkeeper at 6ft 5in tall.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old midfielder Galanopoulos is one of the top young talents in Greek football, and the diminutive, energetic anchor man looks set for a huge future, with Spurs seemingly keen.
Barkas could figure as a replacement for Michel Vorm, given that his contract expires next summer, whilst Galanopoulos may be eyed up as a midfielder to develop given that Mousa Dembele also looks set for a 2019 exit.
