Former Wolves star Sako has joined West Brom on a one-year deal.

A tearful Bakary Sako makes his way off the pitch following the Sky Bet Championship match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Millwall at Molineux on May 2, 2015 in Wolverhampton, England.

Bakary Sako has finally found a new club after signing a one-year deal with Championship side West Bromwich Albion, and he posted on Twitter to confirm a move - but some angry Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have replied.

The 30-year-old winger has been on the lookout for a new club since leaving Premier League side Crystal Palace at the end of last season, being linked with a return to Selhurst Park at the end of the transfer window.

Joining Wolves in the summer of 2012 from French club Saint Etienne, Sako remained at Molineux for three years before completing a move to Palace but he only managed 50 appearances for the Eagles.

Sako posted on Twitter after agreeing a deal until the end of the season with Darren Moore's side, claiming he is "very proud" and "can't wait to get started".

Sako was hugely impressed during his time at Wolves, scoring at a ratio of more than one goal every four games with 38 strikes in just 124 outings. He also managed to create 36 goals in that time.

Now joining one of Wolves' most fierce rivals in West Brom, Sako has angered fans of the newly-promoted Premier League side and some commented on his most recent Tweet, with one even saying "Do one, Judas".
