Crystal Palace have signed Jordan Ayew on loan from Swansea City for the season.

Crystal Palace fans have hammered Jordan Ayew, who is on loan from Swansea City, after his performance for them against Bournemouth last night.

Ayew was selected to lead the line for Palace at Dean Court, but he couldn’t get on the scoresheet during the contest.

The Eagles slipped to a 2-1 defeat on their travels, and Ayew has taken the brunt of the criticism on social media website Twitter.

Ayew was only brought to Palace on deadline day, in a loan deal from Swansea, but he has not made a very promising start to life with Roy Hodgson’s side.

The Ghanian international is yet to find the back of the net for Palace, with the London side still struggling in front of goal.


Palace’s defeat yesterday leaves them sat in 13th place in the Premier League table.

Hodgson’s men are next in action at the weekend, when they take on a dangerous Wolverhampton Wanderers side.
