According to the Daily Mail, Peter Kenyon does have an interest in taking over Newcastle United.

Kenyon has reportedly approached Mike Ashley over potentially buying Newcastle off him.

However, Ashley’s lawyers have told Kenyon to return with a bid for Newcastle before they open negotiations.

Kenyon is said to have enquired over the price of the Magpies, but Ashley wants a monetary offer up-front before he even begins to discuss terms.

Newcastle supporters have been protesting against Ashley’s ownership, and the atmosphere at St. James’ Park at the weekend was toxic at times.
