Brighton and Hove Albion are eyeing a move for Celtic star Callum McGregor, who is reportedly interested in a move to England.

McGregor has been a key player for the Hoops since Brendan Rodgers’ arrival, making over 100 appearances in all competitions across the two full campaigns under the current boss.
His form has been impressive during that time, and he has arguably become an incredibly important part of the Bhoys’ midfield over the last 12 months in particular. But it appears that he may soon be offered the chance to leave the Scottish Premiership champions.

Interestingly, the report adds that McGregor is keen to make the move to the Premier League at some stage, and a move could take place in January if Celtic fail to make it out of their Europa League group.
It would be a big surprise if Celtic were happy to let McGregor go in January, regardless of how they are getting on in Europe. Creativity has been a real problem for Rodgers’ men this season, and the academy graduate is one of the players that the manager will be looking to to rectify that issue.
McGregor is yet to score or provide an assist in the league this season – which is almost staggering given his quality and some of his bright performances so far – but he can certainly turn his form around and help Celtic do a lot more than largely grind out 1-0 victories.
