El-Ghazi only joined Villa this summer, but he has quickly been thrown into the starting line-up.
And Grealish has revealed that only recently El-Ghazi has been asking about what Villa's opponents later this evening, Bristol City, play like.
He said: "I was speaking to El Ghazi this morning and he was asking me about Bristol City. I told him they play good football and he just puffed his cheeks out – I don’t think he can believe how hard the league is. It’s relentless, but we have to be ready.”
Villa fans believe that Grealish’s comments are either a dig at Bruce, or they show that the claret and blues boss hasn’t prepared his players enough.
That Jack Grealish quote about El Ghazi is very concerning, could just be an innocent question but with past results seems that's not the case, still in a predicament about tonight, obviously want a Villa win, but we need Bruce's time to be up to push on #avfc— Jack Millman (@LordMillman) September 28, 2018
Just read the Grealish interview, mark my words that was a shot at Bruce and his tactics and another shot from what El Ghazi thinks of Bruce & tactics.— Cry Partisan (@CryPartisan) September 27, 2018
Bruce is finished if he loses tomorrow. #avfc
Why is El Ghazi asking Grealish "what do Bristol City play like" this morning ?! Do we do any actual preparation for our opponents?— Holte (@TheHolteTweets) September 27, 2018
Genuine negligence. Makes me really angry.— Tom Fox (@TomFox90) September 27, 2018
This says it all. How is it Bruce or one of his 3 coaches haven't prepared him? Farcical— Will Davies (@wilsterdavies1) September 27, 2018
Bruce is under serious pressure at Villa, as their form has been poor this season.
The Midlands side have won just once in their last eight matches.
Villa were beaten 2-1 by Sheffield Wednesday in their last outing, to heap further pressure on Bruce.
The Villans really need to beat Bristol City this evening, otherwise the calls for Bruce to lose his job will only become louder.
