Rangers fans react as Jordan Rossiter makes comeback in Ibrox victory

A Rangers fan shows his support during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on September 23, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Rangers midfielder was making his first appearance under Steven Gerrard, his former teammate, at Ibrox.

Jordan Rossiter of Rangers is seen during the Betfred Scottish League Cup Quarter Final match between Rangers and Ayr United on September 26, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Jordan Rossiter made his latest injury comeback as Rangers beat Ayr United 4-0 at Ibrox on Wednesday.

Signed in 2016 from Liverpool, Rossiter has only appeared 12 times in Rangers colours due to various ailments.

To be fair to the 21-year-old, he showed no fear in a 34 minute cameo against the Scottish Championship side - something that is both good and bad according to Rangers fans on Twitter.

The Liverpudlian was making his first appearance under Steven Gerrard, the Ibrox boss he was for a long time tipped to succeed at Anfield.
