Jordan Rossiter made his latest injury comeback as Rangers beat Ayr United 4-0 at Ibrox on Wednesday.
Signed in 2016 from Liverpool, Rossiter has only appeared 12 times in Rangers colours due to various ailments.
To be fair to the 21-year-old, he showed no fear in a 34 minute cameo against the Scottish Championship side - something that is both good and bad according to Rangers fans on Twitter.
This is what they're saying...
Pining this since I’ll probably never see Rossiter in the flesh ever again https://t.co/8M5wkt4qnh— E (@RobbieGraham72) September 26, 2018
The annual Rossiter could be our best player tweet. Injury pending probs— Marc Melrose (@MarcMelrose) September 27, 2018

if jordan rossiter stays fit for 10 games his name is gettin plastered over all my new tops— COOOK (@scubastuu) September 26, 2018
Thing about Rossiter is he was a talent ahead of his years at 18. Managed less than ten professional games or there abouts. Now 21, still young but that progression has been stunted. Our midfield is now competitive. He's got a fight on his hands just to get a new contract.— Russell Brown (@RussellBrown72) September 26, 2018
For someone who has suffered many injuries Rossiter doesn't back out of any challenges at all. The boy loves a tackle.— EBT_1872_54 (@RangersW4TP) September 26, 2018
Something about Rossiter by the way, the way he was continually trying to urge the players on and how excited he was when the 4th went in!— Robbie (@robbiemorton2) September 27, 2018
One player I really hope can stay fit!
Special mention for Rossiter who despite being constantly injured, doesn’t look it on pitch. Bites into tackles. Hope he stays fit cos the boy has something about him.— Chris McLaughlin (@Chr1sMcLaughlin) September 26, 2018
Don’t think iv wanted anybody to make it at Rangers as much as Jordan Rossiter— Mark (@porter03_mp) September 26, 2018
What a player Jordan Rossiter could be if we could keep him fit. Hardly played for 2 years and just looks head and shoulders above.— Grd1986 (@GraemeDewar3) September 26, 2018
jordan rossiter is a future rangers captain, hes a young gerrard all over— colin crawford (@colincrawford91) September 26, 2018
By the time of Rossiter's arrival, as Graeme Dorrans' replacement in the 56th minute, Rangers were already three goals up courtesy of Nikola Katic, Glenn Middleton and Alfredo Morelos, before Middleton scored again a quarter of an hour later.
The Liverpudlian was making his first appearance under Steven Gerrard, the Ibrox boss he was for a long time tipped to succeed at Anfield.
How does a fit Jordan Rossiter fit into Rangers' plans?
