Grady Diangana has told the London Evening Standard that he was amazed by West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice’s showing last night.

Diangana started for West Ham yesterday, and he caught the eye on debut against Macclesfield Town, as he found the back of the net twice in an 8-0 win.

The Hammers absolutely dominated the contest, with Rice’s showing in midfield once again catching the eye.

And Diangana admits that he was stunned by how well his 19-year-old teammate played.

“For me, even during the game, I was watching Declan and he amazed me, the things that he did. He is still someone to look up to, even though he’s younger than me,” said Diangana.
