Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have given mixed reviews the performance of Leander Dendoncker in their match against Leicester City.

Wolves drew 0-0 with Leicester in the Carabao Cup yesterday, but were knocked out on penalties.

Dendoncker was given a rare start in central defence for Nuno’s side, and his display drew mixed reviews.

While most Wolves fans were encouraged by what they saw, others were less convinced.

Dendoncker joined Wolves in the summer to great excitement, but he has been held back so far.

The Belgian has been kept in reserve, as he adjusts to playing in English football.

Dendoncker’s performance last night may not have been enough to give Nuno a team selection headache for this weekend.

Wolves take on Southampton in the Premier League, and it seems that their usual back three will be restored.
