Tottenham Hotspur take on Watford on Wednesday night.
Tottenham Hotspur are back in action again on Wednesday night as they play Watford in the third round of the Carabao Cup at Stadium MK.
Spurs hit back from their troubling run of three defeats in a row with a 2-1 win at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday evening, giving Pochettino a major boost.
On Wednesday night, the attention turns to the Carabao Cup, as Tottenham face Premier League side Watford at Stadium MK, with Spurs having to borrow the home of the Milton Keynes Dons whilst the wait for their new stadium continues.
The game gives Mauricio Pochettino a chance to rotate his side, but one man set to keep his place from the win at Brighton is goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, with Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm are still out.
Serge Aurier should come into defence, as should Davinson Sanchez, whilst shifting Ben Davies to play at centre back - with Juan Foyth unlikely to play - may allow Kyle Walker-Peters to play at left back.
Harry Winks should be back in central midfield alongside Victor Wanyama, whilst Dele Alli needs a start after a few weeks out with injury, and can take the attacking midfield berth.
Moussa Sissoko can make a first appearance of the season out wide, with Erik Lamela starting on the other flank, whilst Fernando Llorente should be given a rare chance to shine in attack.
That will enable key players like Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to rest up, but some of those big names may be on the bench.
