Glasgow Rangers supporting Oliver McBurnie has hit back at a Celtic fan who has suggested that Brendan Rodgers side will finish 10 points ahead of Steven Gerrard’s men this season.

McBurnie was only too happy to show his Rangers allegiances once again yesterday, following Celtic’s defeat to Kilmarnock.

The tweet drew some criticism from Celtic supporters, but Rangers-mad McBurnie did not seem fazed by the reaction.

Rangers went on to win their match yesterday, as they leapfrogged Celtic in the Scottish Premiership standings.

Rangers won 5-1 against St. Johnstone to continue their impressive start under Gerrard.

While Celtic have struggled so far, Rangers have improved greatly, and look like they could trouble the Bhoys in the race for the title this term.

Rangers are currently just one point ahead of Rodgers side, but Celtic are under pressure to start finding their rhythm sooner rather than later.
