Leeds United lost 2-1 at home to Birmingham City on Saturday.
Leeds United's unbeaten league run under Marcelo Bielsa is over after a 2-1 home defeat to Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.
With no defeats in the Championship, fans were hoping for another strong showing against Birmingham City, who are of course now led by ex-Leeds boss Garry Monk.
Unbeaten Leeds against a winless Birmingham side managed by a former Whites boss had a recipe for being a banana skin, and that's how it proved as the Blues became the first team this season to leave Elland Road with all three points.
Che Adams opened the scoring by catching Bailey Peacock-Farrell out at his near post, before he added a second with an angled strike off the post.
Ezgjan Alioski pulled one back for Leeds but it was Bielsa's first league defeat as Whites boss, and fans are now expecting him to make changes – potentially between the sticks.
Peacock-Farrell didn't enjoy his finest game in a Leeds shirt, and that has resulted in a number of fans calling for Bielsa to drop him in favour of summer signing Jamal Blackman.
Fans took to Twitter to suggest that they are fed up of Peacock-Farrell's errors, calling him 'very average' whilst urging Bielsa to bring in Blackman in order to give the Chelsea loanee a chance to show what he can do.
Time for Blackman to get his chance before we destroy BPF #lufc— Josh (@Joshwatkins92) September 22, 2018
Is that ANOTHER Peacock Farrell mistake costing Leeds a goal?— Bealo (@bealolufc) September 22, 2018
WHY do we keep playing him just because he’s young when we’ve got Blackman on the bench? Fed up of him making mistakes every single week. We’re not going up with him in goal. #lufc
Get Blackman in Peacock-Farrell isn't good enough #lufc— Scott Dickinson (@ScottDickinson2) September 22, 2018
Dont care what you think time for Blackman to start #lufc— Dan Berry (@DanielB466) September 22, 2018
Having rewatched the goals we conceded, I actually think BPF should have saved both. Personally I'd take him out of the starting eleven for a bit and give Blackman a go. #lufc— zz9zsa (@zz9zsa) September 23, 2018
How BPF manages to start ahead of Blackman every week is beyond me https://t.co/NCedDvWj9X— tom lewis (@LomTewis) September 22, 2018
Said it before. BPF is very average. He’s not been tested yet. The defence has been that good. Blackman for me all day long— Stuart Kirk (@Stuart_Kirk) September 22, 2018
