Jordan Henderson is no longer a regular starter for Liverpool but will he play against PSG in the Champions League?

While defeats in the final of the Champions League and the last four of the World Cup will smart for some time, 2018 has still been the best year of Jordan Henderson’s career.
He was the captain and leader of Jurgen Klopp’s side in a stellar 2017/18 season and emerged as a key player under Gareth Southgate as the Three Lions captured the heart of the nation once more.
But Liverpool’s desire to go from nearly-men to actual winners appears to have left Henderson in a difficult position. Fabinho and Naby Keita have arrived for big fees while James Milner is in the form of his life in the centre of the park.

As a result, Henderson has started just one of Liverpool’s first five games of the new Premier League season. And it seems a number of Reds fans are far from convinced that the 28-year-old will be able to force his way back into the team.
With Milner in great nick, Keita impressing and Fabinho still to be introduced, Henderson could have gone from undisputed starter to back-up option in the blink of an eye.
