Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Manchester United's Eric Bailly.

The January transfer window may still be some time away, but there are already rumours swirling over who Tottenham could target in the new year.
Spurs failed to bring in a single signing over the summer, and that may make the January window key for Mauricio Pochettino, with a number of players already being linked with moves to North London.
Leicester City's Ben Chilwell and Ajax's Frenkie de Jong were key named linked last week, and a new name has been mentioned already this week.
The Mirror report that Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is considering leaving in January, and Tottenham are allegedly prepared to rival Arsenal for his signature.
It's claimed that Pochettino is a big fan of Bailly, given that the Ivorian impressed with Pochettino's former club Espanyol before heading to Villarreal and Manchester United.
Bailly, 24, has struggled with injuries during his time with United, and hasn't started a league game under Jose Mourinho since the 3-2 defeat at Brighton, even being left out entirely against Spurs last month.

Bailly is bound to attract interest, and Spurs fans have been taking to Twitter to react, with many believing that he would be a good signing as he is a 'brilliant player', but a move to Tottenham is never going to happen.
Others aren't convinced that he is what Spurs need right now, and don't want Tottenham to bring in a United cast-off - even if he has been highly-rated over the years.
The Mirror reported that #thfc & Arsenal are chasing the Jan signing of want away #MUFC centre back, Eric Bailly.

I feel that Bailly would not improve our current complement of centre backs. Even if Alderweireld does leave, other options like James Tarkowski would be more viable pic.twitter.com/alkObAtjwS
Would sign Eric Bailly in a heartbeat, suspect he will go to Liverpool or Arsenal but brilliant player

I'm sorry. Am I missing the obvious here. So we're going for a player that cannot get regular 1st team games, who isn't match alert and on the books of a top 4 club and possibly a replacement for TA? Sounds like the usual cheap option rather than paying for match-ready quality.

Not the answer we need thanks

Luke Shaw linked with Spurs.

Anthony Martial linked with Spurs.
Eric Bailly linked with Spurs.
If we signed ONE, it would make a massive impact to our current team. Obviously, we wont sign any.
So while everyone at United FT were dreaming of Toby Bailly Jan at Old Trafford, Bailly could be coming to Tottenham.
