Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is under serious pressure after his side's poor start to the campaign.
Aston Villa fans have called for Quique Sanchez-Flores to be put in charge and take over from Steve Bruce.
Bruce is under serious pressure from Villa supporters, after their side’s poor start to the season.
The claret and blues have failed to live up to expectations and currently sit in 12th place in the Championship table.
Villa have failed to win any of their last four games across all competitions, and could only draw against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.
And Villa fans are now calling for Bruce to go and be replaced by Sanchez-Flores.
Tell you what the weakest argument I’ve heard about people who want to keep Bruce? It’s the ‘who is better?’ one. Let me kick you off with a few names.— Matt Lynch (@mattlyynch) September 16, 2018
With any of those you promote Mark Delaney to a more prominent role. #AVFC
Sanchez-flores for me but no objections to those two, both fine COACHES too...— Will Davies (@wilsterdavies1) September 16, 2018
This is, in my opinion, the best team in the championship. Bruce sets us up like the minnows. His whole ethos is to soak it up and nick a goal. A manager like Sanchez-flores, Smith coach. Brucie doesn't. It's football with the handbrake on.— Will Davies (@wilsterdavies1) September 15, 2018
Sanchez Flores is an interesting shout. As is Garcia. Wolves managed to attract a manager clearly a big step above Bruce a little over 12 months ago. He seems completely incapable of organising them into a cohesive unit, many managers would surely do better with these resources?— Big D (@Hot_Diggity_D) September 16, 2018
sanchez flores for me— Nidgey (@nidgey72) September 17, 2018
Sanchez-Flores has previous experience of working in England when he was in charge at Watford.
The Spanish boss guided Watford to a mid-table finish, but was let go at the end of the season.
Sanchez-Flores has been out of work now since he left his job in charge of Espanyol.
