NY Post - $30bn hedge funds hires head trader wunderkind

Hedge Fund

Billionaire investor Ken Griffin has hired Andrew Liebeskind as a senior trader for his massive, $30 billion Citadel hedge fund, The New York Post has learned.

The newspaper reports that Liebeskind was most recently the head trader at PDT Partners, a hedge fund with $5 billion in assets started by former Morgan Stanley alum Peter Muller. He is also a Goldman Sachs alum, trading stocks at the Wall Street bank in 2005.

The 35-year old wunderkind will trade in the fund’s Surveyor Capital fund, which feeds into its flagship Wellington fund, two people familiar with hiring told The Post.
