Sunderland’s latest outing saw them draw 1-1 at home to Fleetwood Town.

Sunderland still remain unbeaten in League One this season, but after a lacklustre performance against Fleetwood Town last Saturday, it may be time for Jack Ross to make changes.

The Black Cats once again fell behind early in the match, but fought back to salvage a point – something that has been a regular feature in their campaign this term.

But with the prospect of Burton Albion away this weekend, suggestions have been made that Ross should field a different type of side this weekend.

Sunderland have conceded from set-pieces on several occasions so far this season and fans on Wearside have been keen on seeing a bigger set of players on the pitch, as well as two attackers up front.

Summer signing Charlie Wyke came off the bench last weekend and immediately made a difference in defending set-pieces, as well as providing an outlet in attack.

Wide midfielder Chris Maguire has been excellent so far this term, but has looked increasingly tired as of late after playing in all of Sunderland’s nine games this season.

Denver Hume was the Black Cats’ man of the match last weekend, but with the return of key defender Bryan Oviedo, the youngster could be moved to right-back ahead of Adam Matthews, who struggled in patches against Joey Barton’s men.

Below is how we think Sunderland will line-up against Burton Albion, with three key changes and a change of formation.
