Moussa Sissoko has played just once for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season.

Murphy was making a point about Tottenham’s squad depth, and why they didn’t need to make signings over the summer.
But while he was listing the names of the player in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad he couldn’t resist taking a dig at Sissoko.
Murphy said: “People talk about lack of competition. But Eriksen, Alli, Son, Moura, Kane, Lamela… I was going to say Sissoko, but he’s gone hasn’t he? And he wouldn’t really be competition anyway.”
Sissoko joined Tottenham in a £30 million deal back in 2016 (Chronicle), and he has gone on to play frequently.

The Frenchman may not have always looked up to Spurs’ standard, but Pochettino has shown great faith in him previously.
Sissoko’s energy and power in midfield made him an option for Tottenham to use regularly last term.
Sissoko has fallen out of favour this season though, and has only featured once for Spurs so far this campaign.
