Tottenham Hotspur signing Gelson Martins would help them terrify opposition defences

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keen on Gelson Martins from Atletico Madrid.

Lucas Moura and Gelson Martins could be a terrifying attacking duo for Tottenham Hotspur, if they can bring the Portuguese flyer to London.

According to the Daily Star, Tottenham are still interested in Martins, who they were linked with in the summer.

 

Martins has only just moved to Atletico Madrid, but his future with the Spanish side is already unclear, and Spurs are said to be willing to take him.

And if Pochettino can snap up Martins, then Tottenham would have a lightening quick attack to call upon.

Moura has been in wonderful form this season, and took the Premier League Player of the Month award for August.

The Brazilian has forced opposition defenders back, with his pace and trickery.

And if Moura was to work in tandem with Martins at Spurs then Tottenham may well have the quickest attack in the Premier League.

Martins is also rapid, and the thought of watching Moura and Martins in the same team at Spurs should excite supporters of the north London club.
