Dembele left Celtic to join Lyon on deadline day.
Dembele, 22, completed a £20million move to Lyon on deadline day after being linked with moves away from the Scottish champions for much of his stay with the Premiership champions.
The former Fulham striker made 94 appearances for Celtic during his time at Parkhead, scoring 51 goals in that time and at such a young age, he has been touted to become one of Europe's best strikers.
The France youth international played alongside Ntcham last season at Celtic and became close with the former Manchester City midfielder, and the two linked up to represent France's Under-21 side over the weekend.
The duo both appeared as France earned a narrow 1-0 win over Bulgaria, with Lyon's newest signing scoring the only goal of the game in the second half before Ntcham entered the fray in the 76th minute.
Both Ntcham and Dembele are expected to feature for France on Tuesday night, as the Under-21 side take on Luxembourg at home.
