Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic are amongst the teams to have missed out on Gavin Bazunu.

Bazunu has become the latest starlet to join the Premier League champions, with The Telegraph reporting that City will pay Shamrock Rovers £420,000 for the goalkeeper – which is a record for a non-professional player in Ireland.
But Tottenham have missed out after making a series of bids for the prospect, while Celtic and Liverpool were also amongst the impressive list of teams that Bazunu seemingly had to pick from before he reached his decision.

It would appear that it is going to be a blow for Spurs to miss out on the youngster. The number of high-profile teams interested and the fact that Tottenham made a number of bids suggests that they were confident that he is going to be something seriously special in the coming years.
But unfortunately for the likes of Tottenham and Celtic, they are going to have to watch the youngster realise his potential elsewhere with Manchester City getting a move across the line.
