Former reported West Ham United target Raul Jimenez joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan in the summer transfer window.

Back in the summer of 2015, West Ham were interested in signing Jimenez when the forward was at Spanish club Atletico Madrid, as reported by AS.
It was reported that a loan move to West Ham had been agreed, but the Mexico international was claimed to have missed his flight to London because he overslept and did not undergo a medical.
Jimenez, who subsequently moved to Benfica that summer, has given his side of the story regarding his failed move to West Ham three years ago.
The 27-year-old told The Express: “No, no, that’s not what really happened. I don’t know why anyone has said that.
“The way it was, was that one day I had a proposal from West Ham and the next day Benfica and that was it.
“Benfica wanted to buy me but West Ham was a loan deal. So that was the thing. It wasn’t anything to do with sleep.”

Joining Wolverhampton Wanderers
Jimenez moved to Wolves on a season-long loan deal from Benfica in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old forward has scored one goal in three Premier League appearances for Wolves so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Nuno’s side will return to action this afternoon when they take on West Ham away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
