Toulouse’s Ligue 1 forward Ola Toivonen has been linked with a move to Graham Potter’s Swansea City, who are aiming for Championship promotion.

It seems that Graham Potter is keen to add a little bit of experience to his fresh-faced Swansea City squad before Friday’s transfer deadline.

The Sun reports that Swansea are in talks to sign the 31-year-old free-agent Youssuf Mulumbu, who has previously represented West Brom and Norwich in the Championship and left Kilmarnock at the end of last season.

And, according to La Depeche, the South Wales side have their eye on Sweden international Ola Toivonen, too.

It is claimed that the 32-year-old Toulouse forward has been absent from the club’s training ground for the last three days, with a move away from France seemingly inevitable.

And Swansea would allegedly like to bring Toivenen, who has scored 14 goals in 64 caps for his country, to the Liberty Stadium.

It remains to be seen, however, what the former Sunderland man’s plans are. The World Game reports that Toivonen is also in talks to join reigning A-League champions Melbourne Victory.

Although Potter will be hoping that Swansea’s Swedish contingent, which contains Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Martin Olsson and Joel Asoro, will lure Toivonen to the Liberty Stadium instead.
